May News 2019

“I love you right up to the moon—and back.”
—Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney

Dear Families:
May 2019 finds all the children dreaming about being on the go, go, go and beyond. We are reading, learning and creating around the theme; transportation. We painted with cars and trucks; acted like a train moving from one place to the other; ran around the playground with arms spread open and soared liked planes; played with boats in sensory; and made our names into rocket ships. We also had a visit CT Music performed The Wheels on the Bus among other children classic sing-a-long songs.
We celebrated moms with a classroom tea party. All children made a special Mother’s Day gift. Infants made hand printed flowers on a canvas totes, toddlers painted wooded flowers and preschoolers painted flowerpots and planted a flower. Preschool thanks Loews for their kind donation of pots and flowering plants.
A staff shout out to parents who helped make Caretaker Providers Week so meaningful. We enjoyed the awesome French toast bake, sweet treats, special cards and flowers plus a cold cut sandwich lunch. We are deeply for your children and are glad you are appreciative.
Remember to join us for some upcoming events:
• Pops with Pop! Friday, June 14 at 3:30 pm. Please RSVP with your child’s teacher
