Teachers and Assistants Wanted for our Early Learning programs.
*Plan and implement daily activities for children.
*Experience working in a child care setting, good interpersonal skills and communication.
*Teacher Education requirements:
Degree in ECE or related field with experience in a learning environment.

8/15/2017- Head Teacher and Co- Teacher for Clubhouse @ TFS

Start date: Sept 2017-2018 school year
Split Shift 7:30am-9:30am & 3:30pm-6:00pm (must be available for early dismissal days once a month)
~Education requirements: Have a current CT Head Teacher Certificate for School Age or to obtain a CT Head Teacher Certificate (Apply on Ct Charts a Course-hold 12 credits in ECE, Child Development, Elementary Education, Recreation, Group Social Work or related field from an accredited institution of higher education with 540 documented hours working with School Age or a 4 year degree in the above fields of study with 270 documented hours with School Age Children Bacholars degree in ECE or a related field; hold or must obtain OEC Head Teacher Certificate;


 

ALL YEAR:  Substitutes Wanted- ALL centers and clubhouse locations!!!

Great for college students! We will work around your schedule at all of our centers and after school programs. A nurturing caring individual – experience a plus. Salary commensurate with experience and level of education.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Director

– Possess the personal qualifications to work with children and the ability to relate to staff, parents and community groups.
– Bachelor of Arts degree or higher in the field of ECE/Education/Child Development with three years teaching and supervisory experience OR hold an associate’s degree in the field of ECE/Education/Child Development or CDA with five years teaching and supervisory experience
– Directors Credential for the State of CT
– Knowledge of NAEYC
– Flexible schedule of availability
– Hold a Connecticut Head Teacher Certificate
– Hold training in CPR and 1st Aid


Teacher
– Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field OR
12 Credits in Early Childhood Education or CDA with 2 years experience in the child care field.
– Emotional maturity/stability required to carry out assigned responsibilities
– Ability to relate joyfully and sensitivity to children
– Work as a team member with staff
– Must possess sound judgment to handle crisis situations
– Ability to pass CPR and First Aid Training
– Ability to lift 40 Pounds


Assistant Teacher
– Associates degree with a minimum of 12 Credits in Early Childhood Education or CDA with 2 years experience in the child care field.
– Must be flexible to changes in planned activities and/or hours of work. (May be required to change classrooms and/or age groups depending on the center’s needs)
– Emotional maturity/stability required to carry out assigned responsibilities
– Ability to relate joyfully and sensitivity to children
– Work as a team member with staff
– Must possess sound judgment to handle crisis situations
– Ability to pass CPR and First Aid Training
– Ability to lift 40 Pounds

Program Coordinator
– Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education with at least five years of experience in the field as a head teacher, program coordinator or teacher
– Emotional maturity/stability required to carry out assigned responsibilities
– Ability to relate joyfully and sensitivity to children
– Work as a team member with staff
– Must possess sound judgment to handle crisis situations
– Ability to pass CPR and First Aid Training
– Ability to lift 40 Pounds


Aide/Floater
