Welcome to the Carelot PTO
The PTO is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization made up of families, teachers, and administrators working together to enhance the experience of all children enrolled at Carelot Children’s Centers. Throughout the year the organization sponsors and organizes family functions, children’s events, and programs. The PTO provides funding for environmental enhancements and programs to complement the curriculum which is accomplished through various fundraising activities. Our success depends on volunteers and contributions from the community and participation from our families and teachers

RONALD VLAUN SCHOLARSHIP
Each year, the PTO offers scholarship monies to High School seniors from Waterford/East Lyme for students pursuing a degree with the intention to work with children. Applications are accepted through April 1st each year. Applications can be printed here and submitted to Carelot PTO – 315 Flanders Rd. East Lyme, CT 06333- Applications are due by April 1st of each year.

HOLIDAY GIVING TREE 2025
This year, the committee will choose 6 families from the community to support based on applications received. Please note that the application deadline is November 7, 2025. All donations for our giving tree will be due by December 11th! Thank you in advance for your generosity! ONE-STOP HOLIDAY SHOPPING 2025
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd @ East Lyme High School- 10am -2pm- Shop from over 50 crafters/vendors/small businesses, door prizes, food, and fun!!
